alo,

  so today is my bday, hurray.  i took my test at 9 this morning and man was i nervous.  i drove alright though, parallel parking was a breeze.  after i finished my test and he said i passed i was relieved.  we got my pic taken and got it processed.  i liked the pic.  anyway, got to school at like 10:40 and my friends got me thesee gifts.  they were cool, first, michelle and kathi got me a leopard print swim speedo and a swim cap, rebecca lewis baked me brownies, and charles chi got me a soda, and voo got me fries.  i have really awesome friends.  ils the man too.  anyway, i have  a big meet this weekend so im really preparing for that.  we had a meet yesterday, and we lost, but i did alright.  i won the 200 free by alot, and i was just coasting, and then i lost the 100 back but got a best time.  thats pretty cool.  anyway, they were wearing fastskins and we were wearing regular suits so wutever.  im happy today, im gonna go to swim practice and then have my bday dinner during the weekend so i can have more time to enjoy my dinner with myfamily.  i love my family.  my bro got me a red rutgers sweatshirt which is really nice.  and my lil bro is doin a little better in swimmming, but he hasnt grown up into an aj mak yet.  that would be cool though.  anyway, i have to do some homework so i dont fail out of it.  soooo, peace out, and hugs to you all and thanx for wishing me a happy birthday.  it certainly was, and since it is still wed, it still is.  bye.

happy new year everybody. as you all know today was chinese new year, and i spent it up in nyc with my family.  we got up at like 9 and then went to the city at like 11.  we waited for the festivities to begin at 12, but it ended up to be around 12:30 because the honored speakers showed up late.  anyway, they lit up some firecrackers which was awesome cuz they were banned like 5 years ago and this was the first year that it was done.  and the lion dances were really cool.  i'll tell you about those lion dances when you ask me a bout it.  as of the food, the first two meals of the day consisted of only vegetables and no meat.  i ate that at one of my grandmas' house and then for dinner we had a full meal complete with meat at my other grandmas' house.  i also got alot of money for the new year to signify good luck.  and plus according to the lunar calendar my bday is the day befroe the new years day.  which was yesterday.  but oh well, i guess im gonna get my license next week the 16th.  oh well, i gotta go.
